WHO WE ARE!

Avid Care, Inc was established in 2020, in the District of Columbia as for-profit organization that provides services and supports to people with intellectual disabilities. Our Services are person-centered and we ensure quality and innovation as our guiding principles. We are licensed in the District of Columbia to provide services to people in their natural or preferred setting. We ensure that the people we serve live in a safe home-like environment that is non-hierarchical and non-authoritarian. This philosophy provides an atmosphere where the people we support can access services and support in the least restrictive setting/environment and lays the foundation for any further intervention strategies.

WHAT WE DO!

Our experienced and dedicated staff assist in the provision of support to people with intellectual disability as outlined in their ISP/IPP. Our services are provided to people in their preferred setting. Avid Care, Inc coordinates several aspects of the person’s care such as health, relationships, friendships, community integration, safety, and security, rights and dignity, socialization etc. and follows best practices in the provision of these services.
